I'M WALKING AGAIN

I love this picture of the 2 old cows walking! I walk with a 4 wheel walker with a seat which came in handy today. Read on to see why!

I started walking again today. It was Founder's Day and our city was having a parade so I walked downtown to watch the parade. Round trip was 2.50 miles. emoticon I haven't walked all winter. I will walk again tomorrow. Here is my new plan:

Mon-Wed-Fri-Sat--work out at Curves
Tues-Thurs-Sun- -walk

I go to Curves no less than 3 x's a week, and the fourth time is an added bonus. If for some reason I don't get there that 4th time, I have at lest mad it 3 x's. By walking o n the days I don't go to Curves I am sure to be doing some kind of activity every day. If I choose not to walk on Sunday, that will be ok. It'll be a rest day. I can be flexible one day a week.

I know how good that feels. I had an awful blood clot once and I couldn't walk for months, then used a walker. I remember what it felt like to finally walk. I'm so happy for you!

emoticon on your 2.5 mile walk! I joined CURVES a month or so ago and have loved going there! Isn't it wonderful that God saw fit to put this type of gym on the founders' minds? How have you been? I've been here and there...on SparkPeople more this weekend than lately. Of course, I get busy with my children at school but it has been a fabulous year! :) I pray you are doing well.

    Walking is one of the best things that you can do on a regular basis no matter how fast of slow you go!

Great that you're walking again...and look behind you...that might just be me walking too!

    That is wonderful Elayne. I to sometimes use a walker - like when I go have tests at the hospital. I bet you felt great after that.
