March Week One

Hey gang, this week's installment is not so great. I only made it to the gym once this week. Ugh! It never fails, I get on a roll and life comes along and messes with my flow. I had a few things that just ruined my routine and then I was out of town yesterday and today. As a matter of fact, I just returned and here I am logging on Sparks. I am addicted. I have to log in and see how things are going and of course spin that wheel (which gave me a whopping one for today). Sunday starts a new week and daylight savings. I rarely workout on Sunday's but if I get a chance I will to try to get the fire back.
I have also discovered that I need to make some major changes in my eating. I am not losing weight so something has to give. I am going to log everything this week and see where I need to make changes.
On another note, I went to a health fair today and I felt like an expert. There was a doctor that was doing a presentation and he was spewing out some things about weight loss that I know were not completely correct! I couldn't interrupt him, but he was really confusing and had I not read almost every article on Sparkpeople, I would have fallen prey to his information. I felt so empowered that I knew the truth about calories and exercise and how it all works together. Sometimes it is easy to forget and take for granted what we have here at Spark, but no more for me. Thank you Sparkpeople!!
