Had a reassuring visit with my surgical doc today. He seemed fairly confident of a lap approach and said even if he converted to "open" the incision would be fairly small.

No date was set yet, however he seemed in agreement with me to move ahead asap...let's just get 'er dun!

First, however, he wanted me to do a stress echocardio to rule out any cardiac difficulties. They were able to schedule me in for this tomorrow afternoon, so we'll see what happens next and how quickly.
