Week 2 guidelines for the MAY TEAM SPARKS TOGETHER Challenge:
T...Taking up space with freggies leaves little room for unhealthy eating. Commit to 5 daily.
E... Energy levels stay up all day when we move our bodies. Add an additional 5 minutes of exercise daily.
A... Additional exercise increases the need for water... Consume 6 glasses daily this week.
M... Maintaining motivation is tough some days. Comment with encouragement on a team mates page who is participating in this challenge with you once this week.
Please remember to edit your original post when updating your daily accomplishments.
Continued success during week two of the challenge.
5 servings of fruits & vegetables each day - easy!
Exercise daily - maybe I can actually make this happen this week.
6 cups of water per day - no problem.
Motivate someone else who's participating in the challenge every day - for this, I'll have to take a look at our tracking thread and then go to someone's page. I'll try to make sure I choose a different person each day.
So, with my writing: My goal is a minimum of 1,644 words per day. That's a MINIMUM. Now, included in things I will work on each day are the following: a daily devotional blog posting; two children's books; an article; two novels; and a screenplay. I will start with the devotional blog, then work on one of the children's books, do some research and planning for the article, write one scene in each novel, and then do some work on the screenplay. I'll spend an hour on it every day and see how much I can get done in that time.
As for housework, that's changed with the move. I have three rooms to pack this week: spare bedroom (the one we were trying to rent out); living room; and my boyfriend's lab (downstairs room, used to be his office). First I have to do my office and my bedroom. He left for Saskatoon on Saturday (February 21), so I can use Sunday afternoon to do those two rooms and then get down to business with the other rooms starting on Monday. My goal is going to be AT LEAST one box per day. The thing is, once I start I will probably just keep going until the whole room is done or it's time for something else (like one of my TV shows, of which there aren't tons). So that will hopefully be helpful and useful.
I have high hopes for this week's challenge and goals!
