Going the distance!

I ran 5 miles outside today in 46:26 OMG I was thrilled just to finish never mind the pace. That's a 9:14 min/mile. The lack of weightloss has been frustrating but I am setting running goals. 6.55 (1/4 marathon) on April 4th!!!!

    Great time, Mama! I did a half marathon in February and trained hard for four months - didn't lose a pound! Actually gained two which was frustrating, but I made my focus mileage and fuel. Race day, it all paid off. I ran a very strong, steady race and finished 6 minutes faster than my goal of breaking 2 hours. So, keep on runnin', you can focus on weight later. Good luck!!
