New Feature: Nutrition Feedback offers Specific Tips to Reach Your Goals!

Hi everyone-
We're excited to tell you about a great new feature on SparkPeople's Nutrition Tracker. It's called Nutrition Feedback. Basically, when you're done tracking your food for the day, you can now see a special Nutrition Feedback page that shows you which nutrition goals you met, went under and went over. If you go over or under on a nutrient, you'll get a tip (which rotates so you'll always get new information over time) to help you get back into your goal range. Currently, the Nutrition Feedback page features tips and information on 15 of the most commonly tracked nutrients, but we hope to add more over time.

    I really like the Nutrition Feedback. It takes all the work out of trying to figure out where I need to improve my diet.

  I love this - one of my complaints with many diet programs is that they don't really show the nutrients you are getting or give a breakdown of carbs, fat and protein - what a great job you are doing!!! Thank you.

Now a comment - I am relatively new to the site and have trouble finding where to go to track my weight and then I would like to set up a graph or chart to show my progress but not sure how to do it.

Again, thanks for the help.

    I am surprised at how helpful this new feature has been for me. The nutrition tracker showed me the numbers but this feature tells me why it is important to stay within the parameters. Thank you for such a great new addition to an already awesome site.

    I see that the comments are overwhelming positive about this feature.
I'm really surprised - I found it next to useless. The tips were pretty obvious and did not seem to rotate at all over the period I used this feature. Plus, at least one tip made poor assumptions - one day I was over on Carbs due to more fruit eating than usual and the tip authomatically assumed pasta was the cause. I didn't have any pasta that day!!!

I love the Nutition Tracker but I think I'll give this part of it a pass from now on.

    I love this new feature. It makes it like a puzzle... fitting in foods for the day that complete your "nutrition puzzle". It really motivates me.

    QUESTION! - In the video on your nutrition page it shows that you track your fruits & veggies beside where we track our water but I dont have that!! Did I miss something??

    I love this feature. It inspires me to keep within my specified range and I look forward to checking it at the end of the day to see I made it. I was startled to learn I don't get enough protein and get too much calcium. Knowing this encouraged me to research articles within SP to correct it. I'd like to see a feature that would tell me if I consume the correct amount of fruits and vegetables each day.

    Really like this feature, it breaks down in an easy to understand and view approach to review how well you did or supplies the suggestions on how to make your next choices better. I like the solutions based approached. Great job and keep up with the great work !!!!!

    I just found this, I thought it had been there and I just didn't see it. It is really great, I looked at my nutrition for yesterday and the info was very helpful, especially as I am on a serious health kick. I want to get as healthy, beyond just weight and fitness as I can. This is really a great feature!
