I admit to being really slack about journaling, and I need to keep better track of that. In my defense, insanely busy does not begin to cover it. Now that the convention is over, I can start to track things again. Also in my defense, things continue to progress. Insanely busy or not, I've been good about the gym and my food intake. I just haven't had time to record it.
Recorded or not, the numbers aren't lying. Nor are my knees. They hurt much less than even six weeks ago, and there's good reason for that. On the 16th of December, when I weighed myself for the first time in well over a year, I weighed in at 280. On the 17th of February, the number is 252.
You know what that means? Yes! It means I am down ten percent of my starting weight! At the 25-pound mark, I did treat myself to a facial. Now I've promised myself a massage, maybe with hot rocks. Timing is going to probably be such that it'll be around the 30-35 pound down mark, though.
I am eight pounds "ahead of schedule," with tons of energy and much less physical pain. I am definitely eating, too! (I have discovered an almost unseemly love for almonds as a snack. One ounce, no more cravings. Yum.)
Starting at my current weight, and assuming a healthy two-pound-per-week shrinking:
The "my body likes this place" 240 mark: end of March
Next ten percent mark: Mid/late May
lege mark: Early/mid June
Third ten percent mark: MidAugust
Under 200: Around my birthday (4-SEP)
Fourth ten percent mark: by Halloween
Fifth ten percent mark: Before New Year's
Goal: Shortly after New Year's.
Yes, I know none of this is set in stone. My body could yelp and freeze at any point. But good grief, I had one meal that was pizza and fried mushrooms this weekend, and still dropped three pounds! I'm usually coming in at or 200kCal above my plan. All of my clothes fit better again. I mentioned the knees.
So yeah. Not so good on the tracking, but everything else is going very well! :)
