I did it, got a 2 yr membership through Costco for 24HR Fitness, a supreme deal!!! Today I begin my next step in my quest for health and fitness... without the exercise I have lost 12 pounds in the 6 weeks since I began, so we'll see what happens now. I AM EXCITED!!

    Either cardio or strength training. Preferable both. I use an eliptical at hom e 6 days a week, but I still have to use weights for my upper arm flab.Don't get discouraged if the weight loss slows down, sexy muscles, even when hidden under extra flab, weight more than fat. Keep working through it and the muscles will burn more calories even during sleep than fat does.1st thing, is go. Start. The rest will all follow.

    Great work! Hope you find something you like at the gym. I know cardio burns more calories, but I love the feeling of strength and power I get from lifting weights.
