A couple of days ago, my cat accidentally bit my wrist; he got tangled in some yarn and didn't understand I was helping him get untangled, so he bit at me instead (lightly, but it broke the skin). Immediately, he was sorry, and he jumped down and away. I put a dressing on the spot and went on with my crochet. Saturday evening, I was crocheting as I was watching TV, and the long-sleeved shirt I was wearing rubbed my wrist, so I decided to change to a short-sleeved T-shirt I hadn't worn in several months. I was surprised to realize it's now way too large! I haven't lost weight since I last wore the shirt last summer, so I was astounded to realize how my dimensions had changed in the interim.
I guess it's time to go through the closet again and look for more volunteers for the give-away pile! It's funny, but sometimes I'll keep something I KNOW I wouldn't wear again even if it fit, just so I can get rid of it because it DOESN'T fit! There's something satisfactory about the feeling that my clothes are too large!
