Water Woes

So, I am REALLY trying to get my 8+ water in a day. I am on a new med for my blood pressure with a diuretic in it...........I HAVE TO PEE ALL THE TIME!!! It is seriously driving me crazy! Thank goodness I don't work alone, cuz I have to leave like every 15-20 minutes to go to the bathroom. It makes me not want to drink, but I know that I have to. It is soooooooo frustrating.

On a less whiny note, I am really doing pretty well with the exercise. It is rainy and dreary today, which makes me sluggish, but I went to the gym anyway. I am really trying to pick up the pace on the treadmill, as I see so many people that are jogging/running and I want to get there! I did 4.2 mph today, which is probably the last step before I need to jog. I could only handle it for like 3 minutes though. I will get there though!!!!

    I feel so out of touch yet so close??? Sorry. I have not been on here very much lately and when I am still trying to catch up on emails from when we were away... You are doing AWESOME in case I haven't told you lately :)

    4.2 is clipping along pretty well! 4 is my baseline and I know I don't push myself often enough to go more than that...especially now that I'm working on doing more "hands-free" treadmilling. I've gone up to 5 or 6 on occasion if the mood / song inspires me...but that's for only 3-5 mins. at a time.

Back to the drearies around here, c'mon SPRING already! :-)

    If you drink more you will actually (in theory) need to pee less as your bladder gets used to being fuller. I'm still waiting for that theory to kick in but, saying that, I go to the loo about once an hour regardless of how much, or little, I drink.

Way to go on the 4.2 mph. I calculated it to be about 6.75km/hr which is just under the 6.8km/hr I can do as a REALLY fast walk. I hope you didn't have your incline set too high but if you did, that could be why you could only do 3 minutes. Take it easy with intervals at first. Try doing 4.2mph for 1 minute and then rest at about 3.5mph for 2 minutes.
