I'd hoped to up the ante on my activity by incorporating Leslie Sansone's wonderful Walk Away the Pounds program into the daily exercise routine. Unfortunately, this old arthritic knee ain't quite ready for prime time, and so I'm back on the recumbent bicycle and stability ball. But, all is not lost.

I decided to increase the difficulty of the bicycling, and I am feeling the burn. It feels GOOD. Combine that with the stability ball workout, and here's hoping that something clicks!

Best of all, I got up early today. Early enough to put in 20 minutes of vigorous cycling and some stretching before and after.
