I'm excited next week to add Taekwondo to my weekly workouts. My kids just started taking classes so my husband and I decided we would take classes too. I think this is going to be a great family activity. It gives us a chance to grow closer as we work on reaching goals together and to stay fit together. I'm excited!!!!

I have been stuyding Uechi Ryu karate for about 5 1/2 years with my oldest son (my middle son just started this past week) - even my mom does it.

Wait 'til you put "martial arts" in your cardio'll be amazed at the calorie burn number.

Have fun with it - it can be such a rewarding experience and will spill over to your every day life - it will also be so valuable for your kids in so many ways.
