The Power of One / The Power of ALL!

Wednesday, February 04, 2009

One of the BEST things about this wonderful community we're always building here at SparkPeople is the sense of belonging and support one picks up along the way.

It's as if there is a continual crowd about me eager to applaud my successes or offer support when it's needed. I take you all with me when I get on my treadmill / bicycle or pump my dumb bells / resistance bands. Many times I will SQUASH thoughts of skipping my workouts by feeling as though I am letting you all I PUSH myself to live up to our wonderfully healthy and nurturing community expectations...YES!

Just wanted to put a big bear hug THANK YOU out there for all of you!

The Sparks is the BEST!

Don, in just my short time as part of the Binghamton team, I have seen how INCREDIBLY supportive and motivating you are. So if the collaborative effort of others is able to give back even a fraction of that, then emoticon this spark thing is doing its thing!!!!!

Keep up all your tremendous success!!!! :) Teenya

  Hi Don,

Thanks for being there. It is quite an effort to lead a team, great idea, but a lot of work . I am glad that you are receiving a bit of what you are giving.

From your SP page , I see you are doing a low cab program any one in particular? I am doing atkins with 20-30 carbs, and since I started a lot of my craving and food disorder are vanishing.

I have yo yoed so much , when I started SP I even put on 20 lbs on that I have almost lost in very short period.

My stand back is doing work out, I am starting with the SP seven day plan. Tracking food has helped a lot so maybe if I start tracking my work outs also helps .

Oh, such motivation, I feel that way sometimes too, but not often enough! But I keep on working towards that goal anyway.

Doesn't it sometimes seem like the more often you check in with your friends at SP, the easier it is to stick with your workouts & eating plans?
