I thought I would post a little update. Since the first of the year I've been doing really well and have concentrated a bit more on my efforts. But regardless of all that the scales haven't moved! I did manage to get off the 7 pound holiday gain which I am thrilled but I haven't been able to break through this point I'm at. I'm trying not to get discouraged but it's hard. I've been more diligent with my excerise and eating since the New Year.
Since the beginning of Feb. I'm doing the 9 day Fat Smash again (this is how I lost my 7 pound holiday gain) and I'm on day 3. I do like eating this way, it's so much lighter. Tons of fruits and veggies, no bread or white potatoes or snacky things, not even low fat/low cal. And no soda, not even diet. I can do it for the 9 days and be o.k. There is a next phase where you start adding back foods but that phase is pretty much what I do normally. So I'm working to get the scales to move and I'm confident I can do that this month!!
Wow, I can't believe how the scales just "stopped" a few months ago! Of course it's drifted up a few pounds but not down. I've done all things imaginable to get my body to start losing again with no luck. What I was doing last winter to lose is not working this winter. How long can a plateau last??
Besides all that, I am feeling good about the exercise I'm getting and my eating. So I will stick to my resolve and I WILL get the scales to drop!!!!
