pet regrets....

a year ago this weekend, my duncan pumpkin ate a foot long rope, with knots on both ends, and was in bad shape at the vet hospital.
this year, he and walter almost burned down the damn house by nudging the mini-vacuum across the floor to the boiler that has an open flame. i didnt find out until this morning when i saw it was close to the furnace, so i moved it. the hose was completely melted and gone.

i weighed in at 216 today and since its my weigh in, i got to change my ticker.
yay.

my goal is to be at 199 by april 10th, which is r.'s birthday. unobtainable? maybe.
but im gonna try.

there was leftover cheese pizza from last night, and i avoided it. yay. because i really really wanted it. r. offered to give me a slice but i said no.

and r. fixed the treadmill so now i have to work up the motivation to do that.

tomorrow: finish the workout from today that i didnt get to finish. (an hour)
do my 120 minutes.
do strength training, complete with abs.

i made banana date muffins. so good. 49 calories a muffin.
oh, they're mini muffins. but still.
and, im eating dates.
i dont know what dates even are but they sound good for you, and with no fat and low calories, ill eat it.
:o)

i am at the lowest weight i have been at in more than five years.

    Dates are good for you! They get you out of the house ... oh ... wait ... you mean the fruit! ha!

I just know I can't just eat a date. I've tried it. Yuck! I think they have fiber. I think.

Great job avoiding that leftover pizza. Horrible stuff. I know there's next to no fiber in that.

    Congrats I can't wait to be at my lowest weight in 5 years I still have forever to go. Pets are great but they can also be a pain too.Sometimes you want to kill them when they do stuff like that but then they look at you with those adorable eyes like "What?"

    I'm glad you caught that before the house caught fire! 216 is an awesome place to be ;) i'm so happy for you! i think you can definitely do 199 by his birthday. i know you can. hope you jump back on the treadmill this week ;) i don't know how you said no to the leftover cheese pizza. mmmm.... i'm just about drooling thinking about it. but i'm so glad you did! keep it up. 199 is winking at you :)

    wow! you have as much fun at your house with your pups as I have at mine!!! whew! narrow escape! last spring we discovered a nine foot (we measured) tunnel under the garage- my greyhound had been busy! If he had dug any where else he would have been scot free after two feet....silly dogs. Can't wait to see what my dane does! miss you! congrats on your progress!

    Congratulations on the 216!!! Oh, I am so jealous! But you know, you so deserve this. You work harder than most anyone that I know. My scale still says 219 this am, but you are inspiring me to keep on going. AWESOME job. You should be incredibly proud of yourself.

    That is scary, not only what happened to Duncan but what the two pups almost managed to do with the broiler. I am glad you guys are all okay.

  You are doing AMAZING!!!! Congrats to you! I think your goal is completely attainable. I want to be 250 by my sister in laws wedding on April 25th that's 17 pounds away for me. I think we can both do this together.

Way to go on resisting the pizza. I am a sucker for pizza. Friday's at school are HELL, I know strong word but seriously there is so much pizza. YIKES!

Alright, here is to a great February. You're on your way to ONE-derland!!!!

    You make me want so badly to exercise! OK. My treadmill is currently blocked by all of the kiddo's toys in the dining room. My goal will be that when I get the dining room organized, which will be after I get the kitchen organized, I will use the treadmill! I will walk one mile per day. Slowly. BUT I WILL DO IT. And if I do *not* do it, no Animal Crossing for me. And that's FINAL.

    YOu're doing good. Just keep it up.

Pets definitely keep us on our toes. I have a cat so she doesn't do anything major, but I usually end up battling with her for my desk chair and my lap. Everything is her property. I'm only borrowing it. Hope your pups don't get into too much more trouble.
