Monkey See Monkey Do

I had the biggest compliment today and not a word was said.
I was busy doing my 30 minutes of stepping today while using my Wii Free Step program when my youngest (2-year-old daughter) stood next to me. She had lined up two books of the same size to resemble the step that I was using and was marching on her books swinging her arms like I was doing. As I was looking down at her progress and beaming, she started to try and do the actual step up and down. She then insisted on holding my hand while we "stepped" together. Normally I would not be happy with her stepping on books - but I was so impressed that she wanted to do what I was to the point of making her own step.
I know that I am a better role model to her than I was to my older daughters. This one will not recognize the pictures of the fat me when she is older. Her memories will be of a healthier mom. I am determined that will be my future with her.
I found a plank that I am going to make her official stepping board. Think it is time to decoupage during the Super Bowel.
I am so proud of this monkey see monkey do moment.
