Looking at my calendar from last year, it was nearly the same time (early Feb) that I had the stomach flu and was puking my brains out. I'm finally over the crud from last week and while it was NICE to see the scale drop 7lbs in 2 days, I knew it wouldn't last. Dehydration is not fun! But I'm back to feeling human again, and even after a week of not worrying if french fries and gatorade were the only things that sounded appetizing I'm still weighing a 1 lb loss for the week. Hurrah!!
So February is nearly here and I need to plan some goal for the month. I'm doing better at drinking water (even if I don't log it here every day) but I'll keep working on that. February will be Green Smoothie Month. I did a 14 day green smoothie challenge and really felt great (after a few days to adjust to all that fiber!). I had more energy, felt more alert, just overall healthier. Sooooo.... my morning will be 1 glass of water followed by a green smoothie for breakfast. I'll take some english muffins or whole grain bread to work with a small jar of peanut butter so have as my mid-morning snack (I can't completely give up my comfort food breakfast of peanut butter toast & coffee). But I need to use the pwnin' hackin' awesome super blender that I splurged on with my holiday bonus more regularly and NOT just have husband use it to make milkshakes (which I refuse to drink)
