So I ate too many calories last night...

So I ate too many calories last night.

Not too many for the day, but too many for dinner. It happens and the scale is the "great equalizer" for me! Back up to 138.4 but that is ok.

I knew when I basically ate 2 dinners last night that I wasn't being bright but I had already logged it in so I also shoveled it in. I had already made my bowl of cereal with peanuts when I realized I hadn't eaten my veggies for the day. So I made myself cabbage, carrots, celery & shrimp which was very filling - but I still ate the cereal after, lol. Just too many calories so late in the day.

It happens. It happens to all of us. I post it as a reminder to myself and to anyone reading this today.

Today is a new day and a new me is going to emerge victorious once again!

    Great attitude, Linda. I realize everyone else has these same days, but I sure am hard on myself for it. Too many calories late in the day is exactly what I struggle with all the time with my hubby's schedule. emoticon

    Anymore, I've gotten to where I check with the nutrition tracker before I eat any unplanned food. But at least you know where the caloires are and have corrected it today.

    While I am so sorry this happened to you, it makes me realize we are all human and make mistakes. You just pick yourself up and continue to go forward. Way to go.

  That kind of reminds me of when I haven't consumed all my water. It is NOT a good idea to make up for it in the evening either... lol WAY too many bathroom visits when I should have been sleeping. lol

You're right... I have yet to hear someone say that they have never done that.
