1.76 miles in 31 minutes!!! That's a 3.4 mph pace! This is the longest and probably fastest I've walked...so far. How is it that I forget how much more alive I feel??? Don't intend to find out because moving my body feels so good. Actually even jogged a very short bit. Still a little leery of running because I'm in the beginning and don't want to injure myself. I used to run 5 and 10K's - that's one of my long term goals. But for now I'm taking small steps!
Step 1. Cardio 6 times a week (and for me that's walking)
Step 2. Strength training 3 times a week (using the 6 the website gave me - also this is this weeks goal)
Tomorrow will be cardio and strength training and I'm looking forward to both!
