Moving and visit results

I wasn't sure how easy it would be to stay on track with my boyfriend visiting. I think it would actually have been easier had he not been sick about half the trip, poor guy! :( Note up front here that I am NOT blaming him. But he didn't physically feel like going to the gym with me, and I didn't want to be away from him when we only have limited time together.

At the same time, we were moving and I had a birthday party in there! So a couple of days, I did "blow it" by a couple of hundred kCal. All but one of those days were accompanied by an increased level of physical activity, though, so I didn't feel bad. And birthdays are a very important exception, so long as everything is done in moderation.

A few fun progress notes: Since December, I'm down about 20 pounds. A good portion of that was water, but I truly feel that my body is just desperate to get back to its "set point" at around 240. That's the weight I'd been for the best part of two decades. And in seven pounds, I'll be down 10% of my starting weight. If I slow down to a healthy two pounds a week, I'll be at my previous low weight in mid-June, and will be at around 214 July 4th weekend. On my birthday weekend, I will be below 200. At Yule, I will be around 5 pounds away from goal. At this time next year, I will be evaluating my health and deciding what to do from there.

I am eating well and seldom feel hungry. I have energy, although I really want to sleep right now since I have a demon mutant cold and my body is sucking all that spare energy to fight it. I am noticing that my nails are a *bit* brittle, which probably means I need to step up the vitamins a bit. My hair still looks great, though. And I'm falling within-range on all of my targets on SP's nutrition tracker.

Arthritis: Exercising and naproxen are helping. No heartburn or anything like that so far, which is good.

If I plateau, I expect it to be around 235-245. That's my body's "set point," as I said, and that's where I had trouble two years ago. But I'll take that if it comes. This program is working for me, and I intend to keep working it!

    I really like how you have set reasonable goals for yourself. Don't forget to set rewards for when you reach them.
    That's too bad about the BF. It is no fun being sick.
