Hi. I am a 25yr old mom of one and I work from home. I don't ever remember being a "healthy" weight but am trying very hard to get to my "healthy" weight now. I am a member of a gym, I eat pretty healthy.
I have always been a little chubby. Then in 2002 I had a miscarrage and fell into depression and gained 45 pounds. Then I had my wonderfull son who is now 4 (I gained 65 pounds with this pregnancy as I was afraid of having a miscarrage). I got married in feb 07 and gained the newly wed 20 (extra 20 pounds). Just recently (may 07) I just had another miscarrage. The doctors told me that it was because of my weight that I got pre-eclamptic before the baby was 8 weeks along and that forced it to abort itself. That sent me into depression again and I am just getting over it. I have gained another 45 pounds.
I am now looking for others who are in my age group and looking to loose 100+ pounds.
Right now I am at my most at 270 and the dr say I need to be 160-140. That is my goal. I want to acomplish my goal by my 27th birthday.
