It has been a year since I actively started to use Spark People. Tracking what I eat has really taught me to reduce my portion size because I could see how much I was eating was creating meals that has way to many calories.
I have been walking at least three days a week and since November I have been getting a workout at the Physical Therapy Gym to try to losen up my stiffness and reduce my pain.
All and All between the watching what I eat and the walking and exercising I have lost forty pounds.
I have found that participating in the groups has been highly motivating. I have made friends that have had a great influence on me and really helped me to do this. And I have found that I can also help others.
Spark People has been wonderful. If you use it you will benefit from it. If you do not use it you will not have the benefits of others helping and motivating you.
