I have had many fallen soldiers in my lifetime and in my family and appreciate the American Flag covering the coffin and presenting it to Our family. I read this to My Spouse that is Retired. and He was not impressed with going another route. Like He said, "It's His funeral"

I read your post on the message board and I'm not sure how I feel about this! See I thought the good old red, white and blue was a symbol and was used to honor those who have given their lives for our freedom. I know they put a flag by every grave site at all military cemeteries, and they drape the flag over the coffin, fold it up and present it to the family. I know it has been for me for as long as I can remember so I'm still digesting why we need another!
