I stepped on the scale this AM...and it said I had GAINED a pound this week! YIKES! So, I haven't done an official weigh in this week; I'm going to get back on the scale tomorrow morning and see if that nasty ol' scale still says I gained a pound. I just don't think I put on weight last week. I don't see how...I stuck to my plan for week...at least until I had the martinis over the weekend. But, I did overdo on the fat a little last week too...so that probably didn't help either. Oh well, I'll just give it one more try tomorrow.
Anyway, I'm now back in Phase 2 of South Beach....so I can now start to add in some fruit and grains. The only new food I added in today was some fruit flavored, articficially sweetened yogurt. \ Tomorrow, it's whole grain brown rice. I'm not sure what it will be the rest of week, but that may be enough for right now.
Now, I just need to start adding in the exercise. That will really help me get the metabolism going again. I guess it's back to getting up early to do it. Morning really is the best time for me to work out...if I can just get my lazy booty out of bed to do it. Good intentions don't count!
