No support

Monday, January 19, 2009

I'm not sure why but lately I find that I have absolutely no support in anything that I do. This isn't just in my exercise goals but also in my work at home and at the office. Everything I take on extra is just that. I have to fit it into mine and everyone elses schedule. Meanwhile not accomplishing any of the things I want to accomplish. I'm not sure what the answer is,but I will just continue to bite my cheek and smile and pray that this too shall pass.

Oh I recognize this feeling. You look like an incredibly capable and strong woman. Someone people can rely on. That's good, but you may need to find ways to delegate responsibilities or say NO to extra work/responsibilities and/or ask very specifically for help from your husband.
It is incredibly hard for me to fit new exercises in every new cycle/routine change, but it gets easier the longer I practice the habit of trying new things. Hang in there!

Sorry about the lack of support. I feel your pain. My husband is deployed to Iraq right now and he is usually my biggest support system. I'll give a piece of advice... I am a huge people pleaser and I always want to make people happy, but I have learned that many times I lose myself in the shuffle. You are the only person that can take care of yourself. Prioritize what is most important to you then work down the chain. Don't let life get in the way of reaching your goals. Keep your head up. You are not alone!!!

I'm sorry you have no support at work or at home. But know you'll get plenty of support here on sparkpeople. And you can post to me anytime. I'll add you as a friend and you can add me as one of yours and we'll give each other support.
