I was doing great this week...eating well, staying within my desired caloric range, running 30 mins/day...and today I fell off the nutrition wagon. It all started to crumble when I split a scone with my husband...a scone! And I know how terrible those are for you! Argh! Then, instead of wanting to cook dinner, we bought a frozen pizza...for cryin' out loud, I'm so mad at myself. To top it all off, I made myself a shake (ice, milk, banana, PB) for a snack after dinner. The shake is a good meal replacement, not a good snack. Now I'm over my desired caloric intake and at the high end of the other nutrient ranges (fat, carbs). I did do my 30 minutes of running as usual, but that doesn't make up for the fact that I ate like crap today.
I have two choices: I can sit here and obsess about my bad choices today or I can move on. Everyone has bad days right? Tomorrow is Monday and the start of a new week and a new opportunity to keep eating right, exercising everyday, and making good choices.
