Kinda Discouraged

This past weigh in I found myself back at 154 pounds instead of the 152.5 pounds from the week before. I'm kind of discouraged because the week I lost 2 pounds I wasn't eating the best or working out very much. This past week I was eating much better than the previous week and I worked out more. Could it really just be muscle mass gained? I want to say it is, but that weigh in has really psychologically messed up my positive mind set. I'm second guessing my workouts and wondering if eating right will even make a difference.
I need some encouragement big time! Does anyone have any words of wisdom or something positive for me?
I don't want to mess this up!

    Unfortunately the body sometimes just weighs more. Retaining water, not going to the bathroom, PMS, too much sodium - they can all be culprits. Weight loss is a very specific formula. Take in less calories than you are expending. If you're doing this, you're gonna lose fatty weight.

You're doing great so far. Just keep at it. Eat like you know you should, fit exercise into your day (i know, easier said than done).

Good luck in your journey. Don't worry too much about the number on the scale. Maybe try a tape measure instead? It may give you something to be positive about when the scale is off.
