Well, really it fell down! While out walking/jogging (yep, jogging!) today my bra slipped off my shoulders and then fell down to my waist. Yes, I have one of those (a waist) now, too! I put the bra on the tightest loops this morning and when I did it seemed to feel looser. I even tightened up the straps a bit. But, to my surprise it has literally given up supporting me! Woohoo! I guess I need to wear my sports bra to go walking/jogging from now on! I have several identical bras that I purchased last summer, so I guess I'll be shopping for new ones along with new clothes at my goal weight in April! (I just reread this and the image is pretty funny. However I did have a knit top on so, yes, I was covered!)
Anyway, I have stepped up my ususal 4 mile walk. A couple of days ago the weather here got very warm. It has been in the mid to high 60s. As a result I've been able to go back outside to walk. I have been alternating walking with jogging. Today I took my handy digital kitchen timer with me. I walked for a total of 30 minutes and jogged for 20 minutes for a total of 50 for 4 miles or 12.5 minutes a mile. I came home and worked out the calories burned and it was 364 for my weight. Wow! That really makes you think about what you eat! I'm working up to running our local 5k in April. Last year's winner in my age group ran it in 6+ minutes, twice as fast as I'm going. So . . . I have some work to do!
For today I'm just glad that I'm doing well, staying with my program, losing weight AND inches! Next up is Nichole's work out video and then a much needed shower!
