My Anniversary

I did better this weekend than I normally would have. Still, I missed exercising on Saturday, and didn't get ANY water on Sunday (I kept thinking I would get a glass later, and before I knew it, it was 11:30pm!).
Today is my 5 year anniversary at work and my co-workers each brought a plate of treats. Sweets aren't really my thing, so they are easy to resist. . .BUT. . it seems incredibly rude to not have a little bit since I am the reason they brought the food in the first place! There are lemon bars, which as far as sweets go I think are a better choice. There is chocolate peanut butter oatmeal balls, which I don't think would be TOO bad either. My diabetic co-worker though, brought full flavor cupcakes with thick frosting and sprinkles! I took one bite (mostly cake - tried to keep away from the frosting) and discreetly tossed the rest!

    It was your anniversary and I think it is okay to celebrate. It sounds like you keep the celebrating in check so you should be very proud of yourself. Ironic though that your diabetic co-worker would have brought the dessert that was the worst for you emoticon
