On The Bandwagon

Monday, January 05, 2009

I jumped on SP for the first time this year, and guess how many points I needed until my next trophy? 2009! Problem is, I should have made that trophy months ago. Anyway, I found out that the SparkWheel still isn't giving anything up.

I've not been very active here lately, (for months, actually) and there's no real reason other than time. I'm still job hunting, plus I seem to have fallen down the boyfriend hole. I'm trying to find some balance. I've been reading the threads from time to time, and celebrating all of the successes, just not taking the time to sit down and post myself. I even deleted the backlog of unread SP emails. Just reading those would have gotten me quite near that trophy!

So what caused me to blog today? All of the email notifications of new blog postings from long lost fellow Sparkers. I'm so glad to see you're all back. You've been missed.

The good news is that I'm still maintaining my weight, still under my original goal, in fact. The lessons that I've learned here have definitely stuck (well, most of them, anyway). So, I've lost the weight, and am almost at 1 year of keeping it off. I admit, I had it easier than most in that department, but now, to just get it all in shape.

I probably won't be here as much as I was a year ago, or even 6 months ago, but I will be here. The friends I've made here are way too important, and the ones I've yet to meet as well. I need you all.

2009 points? Piece of low-fat carrot cake.

So glad to see you back!! I think you should be VERY proud of maintaining your weight for so long. That's so awesome! You'll have no problem going the rest of the way. We'll be seeing that shiny new trophy in no time. :) I do understand about limited time on SP, but what counts the most is what you do in the real world. As you say, the lessons you've learned here are still with you. I know you'll continue to do great. :)
