Having just returned from a New Orleans vacation, I have to admit that I'm so thrilled to be back to food that is NOT fried, NOT overly spiced, NOT fatty. Even though I was trying really hard to eat only tastes of all the things, I spent the last few day, feeling slightly queasy and sluggish. I craved salads (without fancy dressings) and simple grilled chicken breast. My body was starting to rebel and I spent one evening feeling pretty terrible.
Today, I will start a 4 day cleansing program, and try out my new video using the exercise ball. I'm ready to begin the New Year in a wonderful healthy way!
This trip just reaffirmed the fact that unhealthy eating makes you feel terrible! I'm thankful for my wonderful friends on Spark People who are there to support me in this New Year of weight loss.
