What is your opinion of New Year Resolutions?

Wednesday, December 31, 2008

I actually didn't like making Resolutions because they are always broken?

But here at SP I was given the option of carrying over to next year my lifestyle changes.

So that is what I am going to do. I "resolve" to carry my lifestyle changes over to 2009!

And I am not yet at my goal weight so I guess I "resolve" to stay with my program until I reach my goal and then I am going to learn how to maintain and tone up.

Happy New Year!

I agree with you, "resolutions" is not a word for me either.

I wish you to carry over you lifestyle changes in 2009!

I TOTALLY know what you mean about resolutions and I love the idea of lifestyle changes. Your goals sound fantastic and I KNOW you will reach them in 2009! (New year, new you)

I just think of resolutions as turning to a clean page in my Book of Llfe. I don't make resolutions because they're usually not very specific (I resolve to lose weight) and they're too confining. So I "resolve" to continue focusing on ME and my journey to health and I "resolve" to do one new thing this year. For me, that would be the half marathon which still scares me to death!

Here's to great 2009, eh girlfriend????

    Great goal to have!

I gave up on resolutions a long time ago.
So I'm just challenging myself in new ways. emoticon

You will reach your goal weight very soon. I love this resolution. But I already knew how committed you are.

i agree- "new years resolutions" are meant to be broken! haha... i think it's because we make unrealistic expectations. i like your resolution- that is perfect! i will make 2009 my healthiest year yet.
