Aaah, I put weight on over the xmas!!

Saturday, December 27, 2008

I knew this would happen! It's no surprise that lots of food and no exercise should cause weight gain but I really hoped that a few days wouldn't matter so much but I think I put a few pounds on at least!! I feel so bad for ruining my recent effort to get healthy and letting myself do this again!!

The average American takes on an additional 10 lbs. YEs that means over 10 years we put on 100 lbs and in addition we lose muscle mass (naturally) so we have a smaller motor to burn calories. No wonder we gain weight over the years.

In other words, if you're not moving forward, you are moving backwards.

I am in that same boat with you. I become a baking fool when autumn rolls around, I start baking breads at first and then by the time the winter holidays roll in - its cakes, cookies and candies. BUT, tomorrow is a new day - so don't beat yourself up over it.

I did the same thing, I am so afraid to weigh myself... I'm a college student home for christmas break and I am so looking forward to getting back to school so I can get back to my routine and head to the beautiful gym everyday. emoticon
