Frosty The Treadmill!

Tuesday, December 23, 2008

Well my son and I managed to dismantle and heft my treadmill up the stairs to our storage room, where I've cleared out space to set it up. We had to reclaim space in our living room for our Christmas tree!

Moving that 250 pound treadmill bed was an *experience* I'll tell you! :-)

After having had a few day's worth of workouts in my new location I've noticed a pattern. It is the only unheated room in the house. I'm shivering when I start up in my lightweight shorts and sneakers. Within minutes the sweat begins...by the time I'm done the windows which had only a smidgen of frost in the corners are TOTALLY covered with frost from my workout!

Frosty the Treadmill strikes again!

Wishing everyone the best of all possible holiday seasons!

Don

ps...I'm going to PAY for this workout location in the summertime...lol!

i go through a similar progression when i run outside. i start off freezing because i know i'll be hot soon and won't want to carry my shed layers. by the time i'm done, i'm toasty and warm...but drenched in sweat! it's a good thing, though.

Wow, moving your treadmill was a workout in itself! I didn't realize those could be that heavy! Keep up the good work with "frosty"!
