Is there such a thing? Why on earth could losing weight be bad? I found out last night.

We were getting back into our car and I brushed the snow off the doors with my arm. I then shook my arm to get the snow off me and my enagement ring flew off my finger. Into the snow in a BK parking lot. OMG. I hardly wear my rings anymore because they are too big since I have lost weight. I felt like I should wear them since we were going out.

We searched for 30 minutes trying to find it with no luck. Even some nice people coming out of BK were helping for a bit. Trying to find a diamong in white gold in the snow?? Yeah, I think thats worse than a needle in a haystack. I know its just an object and it can be replaced. My marriage isn't going to fail because I don't have it and the world will not end. I just feel like I lost a piece of me in that parking lot.

I am PRAYING that if someone finds it they turn it in. I mean, a ring is something someone misses, not like a 5 spot that fell out of someone's pocket. I know that I would turn it in, but thats just me. Hopefully there are enough people out there like me.

My DH is there right now looking for it again. It was getting dark when it happened so maybe daylight and the bag of salt he just bought will help. Of all the days for it to fall off my finger, it has to be in a snow storm. Hey, nothing good came easy right??

I think thats the best gift I could have gotten this year! I seriously can't believe that he did it but wow! He is an amazing man!! Woohoooooo!!! Off to the jewlery store now!
