I read a nice article on daily spark saying that to go from a bad mood to a good mood, one of the best ways is to practice gratitude which I did for 2 mins and even got a bit teary! My life is certainly far from perfect, with problems (although minor perhaps to other ppl's problems which can be so much more troublesome), such as lack of friends in the new place I moved to, no boyfriend in such a long time and the somewhat uphill workload for my new masters course but I am doing well I think on the whole - sometimes I seem on the up, others days I am down but in general I think I am going to a better place in my life.
So this is what I am grateful for:
-my family whom I love so much: my kind and supporting, loving parents; my fun brother who looks out for me so much and cares about my well-being; as well as my other family members I don't speak or see as much but who I know wish me well (and likewise, from me to them).
- my pets - adorable, hugable and fluffy - my anger just disappears when I'm around them.
-my body for being functional and having the ability to change.
- my mind for getting over all my past troubles and and helping me to try and do well and succeed in my work and goals.
