Do you feel my pain?

Sunday, December 14, 2008

I bought some mail-order clothes to take to Jamaica. A pair of shorts & a pair of capris barely fit & I gave STRICT orders that they were NOT to go in the dryer. When I went downstairs to get the laundry...you guessed it...there they were, hanging on the clothes rack nice and DRY! Argh! Now I don't have enough pants/shorts for Jamaica. Its obviously not the season to run to the store to replace them...Sometimes helpfulness just isn't so helpful emoticon

One of the perks to living in southeast Texas is that we can basically find capris and short year round, because, well, we really don't have seasons-- just nine months of summer and short spurts of spring and fall.

Anyway, I'm sorry about your laundry mishap. My recommendation would be to rewash and hang again. Sometimes that works. But alas you are already back . . .

This has happened to me, too. I share your frustration, big time. And it always seems to happen to the cutest clothes I have, the ones I fit into but that the dryer mangled into something that wouldn't fit a skinny chihuahua. My boyfriend is now terrified of doing any of my laundry, and rightly so.

I hope you can find some clothes that you like to wear....maybe go shopping again?
Jamaica from what I've heard is lovely. Enjoy your time away!!

I am sure you can find something to wear in the sun...an extra bathing suit? In any event have fun.
