OMG, it's SNOWING!!!

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

Big, fat, fluffy snowflakes! They're melting as soon as they hit the ground, but they do last for a minute on the cars. We get snow in January or February sometimes, but I don't think I've ever seen snow here in December.

You have to realize that yesterday I had to run the AC in the car, and last night I slept with a fan on. I was running around in just thin cotton pants and a camisole most of the day today. Welcome to Texas! Shorts in the morning, snow boots by bedtime.

I took pictures of the snow on my car, but they're not attractive-- looks like we had a visit from a flock of pigeons.

The downside is that it rained all evening and I didn't get to run. My only exercise today was a little bit of cleaning-- I finally tackled the office/spare bedroom, which had turned into a junk room. I only got about halfway done, but it's better than it was!

My daughter in Austin called last night to say it was sleeting/snowing - she was so excited about it.

I, too, had planned to go running yesterday evening, but the cold/rain came through right as I got home. I enjoy running, but not that much!!!

Hey ! You've got OUR snow and I think we have YOUR hot weather ! It was 60 degrees when I went out for my morning run. It's supposed to head up to 65 by mid day. Mind you, when I left the house for work on Monday, it was 24 degrees. Talk about weird weather.

Anyway, temps are supposed to drop into the 30s tonight. So, back to winter we go !

That's funny... it's snowing in Texas and hot in Massachusetts.

LOL - sounds like Illinois weather -- from warm to cold and back in a day or two's time ;)
