Getting excited about the new year!

Sunday, December 07, 2008

New Years is right around the corner and I can't wait to make my resolutions!! I should check and see what mine where for last year, if I made any! LOL! Apparently, I wasn't too concerned with making them happen but this year I am going to make some sort of poster or flyer and post it in the bathroom, on the fridge and in my office at work. I will most likely be making exercise related ones that focus on improving my edurance and toning my muscles. I have neglected this part of the program for the past few years and I need to come up with a plan to include at least one or two days of weights each week. More to come on this as New Years gets closer.

Do you have any resolutions yet? I would love to hear about them!

Hello everyone! My goal in the New year is to play more with my sparkies! I had great fun on my. last outing and want to do more! (If I call it exercise, well, then I hate it) When I was a kid I moved and played, it was fun I want more of that.

I want to be dynamic in the New Year, and be more active! I want to meet more of the team! I enjoy the support and positivity here. emoticon

    Hi....

I have been starting to ponder new year "goals". For some reason when I call them resolutions..they just don't get done. I tend to make goals and break them down a bit under each month on a blank piece of paper. (Ie. Steps into getting them done)

Here is what I have been thinking: emoticon
1. Have pay check direct deposited into savings account (only take out what is needed to pay bills, etc.)
2. Finish back yard (pull up old roots, get rid of dead tree's, level yard off, plant grass and move shed)
3. Recycle more. Be more aware of what we are using and consuming. Invest/buy in a composter or rain barrel
4. run a 5k and possibly Falmouth Road Race (?) ***Trying to get back into running after an injury (I miss running!) slow and steady...
5. Get down to Goal Weight!

Ah new years resolutions! I have had a resolution to balance my check book every year for like 10 years! hahahaha.

This year I think mine will be around money again - to save and get out of debt.

I would like to be under 150 permanently.

What are you thinking of making yours?
