This is my fourth day here. So far so good, I've managed to drink my waters and stay within the calorie range, give or take a few hundred calories.
My daughter had just finished reading A New Earth and she said something that has worked for me in the past few days.
I normally gulp my food down it tastes so good to me that I over eat. So instead I did what she suggested. I ate in the moment. I had a subway turkey sandwich the other day and decided to savor every bite in the moment. I was able to EAT LESS than usual using this method. I also did it with two cookies (I usually get more than two trust me) and by savoring each bite and staying in the moment, I was able to keep from binging.
Has anyone else tried this method? I agree you can't do it ALL the time, but I'm just curious how this might work for some of you :)
