My computer died after 5 years of faithful service. Not bad for an emachine.
I had it in the shop for over a week... it looked like it was going to be ok, but before it left the shop... it breathed its final electronic breath.
The tech guy at the PC Man... a small business in Shillington PA... is a super hero. He had a refurbished motherboard with a new cpu housing unit, and a new cd/dvd reader and burner that he sold and set up for a very reasonable price. Yea!
I really had a hard time keeping track of my food and exercise without the computer. I very very very much missed The Spark People support group. You guys are my team, my friends, my support. Spark People understand what someone else is going thru, because they are going thru it or have been there themselves.
To say that I can't work this program without a computer at my beckon call is a cop out.... but I found that I was more difficult for me without it.
I did keep track of my food and exercise, but not having that automatic calorie counter in the food tracking - it was hard to keep up. Other than Thanksgiving Day... I did ok, but I was so used to checking my food log to see if I had enough space in my daily intake for something "extra" like popcorn, or ice cream, or cheese on my chili......
So I'm grateful for the SparkPeople website -- for all the features and help that make this a FANTASTIC Program!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm grateful to YOU, SparkPeople, my friends, my workout buddies, my accountability group, .....
And I'm grateful to Ronnie the tech guy who got me up and running again with a reliable computer.
YOU GUYS ROCK Thanks for being here!
