I know it has been a while since I posted. I guess I felt I had nothing positive to say. On the other hand, the only one who could change that was me.

I have finally activated my fitness and calorie tracker in Sparkpeople. It is tough, as I have to research most of the things I eat (these Americans are pretty limited *chuckles*). Why can't they list the things I eat? Am I that odd?

Anyhow... I noted down all I consumed, a total of around 1200 calories (bearing in mind, it isn't accurate because they don't have the same foods, so I overestimated here just in case) and worked off around 300 calories. I did a half hour of interval power walking, followed by 15 minutes of strength with the resistance bands. Overall, not bad, I think.

I have one problem with crunches. I can't seem to do the dang things without putting stress on my neck muscles, which leaves me headachy the next morning. Does anyone have a trick on how to do crunches? How the heck do I keep my head in line with my body without straining neck muscles??

Oh I'll try that! I was told to look at the ceiling, but my neck gets sore. One friend pointed out that my neck muscles also need exercise and will likely be sore until they strengthen. I guess there is something to that too : )

The trick with crunches is to tuck your chin in! Try it and see how it goes.
