Can I manage to turn the random assortment of veggies left over from the end of my farm share into a tasty dinner? This is what I had:
-1 stalk Brussels sprouts
-Dark green long skinny kale
-Broccoli raab that is starting to change colors for the fall
(and all the standard things in my kitchen)
I ended up making a variation on Beans 'n Greens, sauteed the onion and leeks, added the greens and some white wine and cooked until they wilted. Then added the orange pepper. And a can of pinto beans and a can black beans. And the secret ingredient: singapore seasoning from Penzeys!
