I am proud to announce that I completed my 10 week nutrition and wellness class! I cannot begin to tell you the abundance of knowledge that I "indulged" on in such a small amount of time!
One of the best quotes we learned in class was "NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS!" Sometimes when I see something unhealthy in front of me, such as a donut or breadsticks, I remind myself of that saying. Or as other's would put it... I try to think myself thin.
Alright, so here were my results: In ten weeks I lost 11.6 pounds (oops I gained a half pound in the last week or it would have been 12.1) and 14 inches. I think that I feel the biggest success is the inches. The gentlemen that teaches the class always says who cares if you weigh 200 pounds if you are a size 2 and he is so right!
I will rejoin the class in January (that's the next time they offer it), however I will not give up the great advice that I learned between now and then. I will continue to journal my food so that I will stay on track!
I know that my history is to lose weight, gain it back, and lose it again. I am determined not to do that this time. I want to keep losing with the support of my family, friends, and sparkpeople. I KNOW I CAN DO IT!
