Why does losing weight have to be so hard? It is so easy to put it on but impossible to get rid of. Some days it is so frustrating and I just want to give up. Then I remember my jeans are getting looser and that is a great feeling and keeps me motivated. Any little bit of motivation helps.
I also realized last night that I am an emotional eater. I have been dwelling on a home issue while at work, and of course after I ate my healthy dinner I immediately went and bought a candy bar. Needless to say, it tasted awesome but then the guilt set in, then the realization that I only ate it because I was upset. I guess I have learned and can now move on and find other ways to deal with emotions.
