So this 28 day plan is definitely taking me longer than 28 days. I keep taking breaks whereas the plan calls for 6 workouts per week. Oops...
Ok, I must confess that this weekend was awful. Well, actually it was really fun, but it was awful for my diet. I haven't even stepped on a scale, which is very unusual for me. I also didn't get back on track on monday like I normally do, which is the kiss of death. Except for 1 day of ST, I haven't worked out in far too long...
Ok, so now I've been honest with everyone, and I feel a lil, tiny bit better ;-)
Now that the holidays are here, I'm going into maintenance mode. This weekend/week was a major scare for me, because last year I gained 6lbs over the holidays and it's taken me this entire year to lose about 10lbs. To be honest, I'm completely comfortable with my body right now. But I find it devastating if I gain 2lbs, I feel like a fat pig and it totally changes how I feel about myself. On the bright side, I weigh approximately 2-3lbs less than I did going into the holidays last year, so I'm a winner, yay! I'm going to stop while I'm ahead and pick back up in 2009.
My new goals are:
*maintain my weight at or under 130
*eat more protein
*continue training for the half marathon
*limit fast food to 2x per month
Alright, so it's simple and will hopefully be effective because I do not want to waste time undoing holiday damage next year.
