Diabetes

Saturday, October 18, 2008

We found out yesterday that my hubby has diabetes. He is only 28 and has been slowly working at improving his health. It came a quite a shock even though it does run in the family. Now I have to figure out how to cook around his limitations. It will be hard but better for both if us if I keep on him.

I'm sorry to hear about his diagnosis. You will find lots of cookbooks on the market for diabetes. And, you will both be eating healthy. Your hubby will appreciate your help.

SO SORRY TO HEAR THE NEWS, I JUST GOT THE NEWS FROM MY SON ALSO 28 YEARS OLD THAT HE TO HAS DIABETES. MY HUBBY( NOT HE FATHER OF MY SON) HAS DIABETES AND I HAVE BEEN COOKING FOR HIS DIETARY NEEDS FOR SOME TIME NOW IF YOU NEED ANY HELP JUST DROP ME A NOTE.

WHAT MAKES IT HARD TO UNDERSTAND IS THAT THE CONDITION DOES NOT JUST STAY WITHIN THE NORMAL GENETIC MAKEUP OF ONESELF IT DEVELOPS OVER TIME AND AS NO ONE KNOWS WHAT CAUSES THE CONDITION, AT LEAST THEY KNOW HOW TO KEEP IT UNDER CONTROL AND DIET AND EXERCISE ARE THE MAIN WEAPONS FOR FIGHTING THIS TERRIBLE MONSTER. KEEPING YOU AND YOUR HUBBY IN MY PRAYERS, BE STRONG FOR HIM AND BE HIS MOTIVATOR AND MENTOR. HANG IN THERE AND BE ASSURED THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY. SANDY
