I have certain temptations that I do my best do control. One is chocolate...for breakfast, I have a chocolate fiber shake or fiber bar. In the evening, I generally have one piece of chocolate. However, these items are always figured in to my daily calories so that I never go over. I drink plenty of water, which also helps to reduce my sodium intake. I also like to drink a few beers occassionally. On those days, I make sure I am light on my caloric intake eating plenty of green beans and other low calorie items. I generally eat every 2.5 to 3 hours, approximately 6 small meals a day. I always exercise, even if I have had 6 beers. I exercise every day except for Sunday...that is Football for me!!
As the one who cooks in the household, people like us have the power to make our families eat healthier by the foods we choose to buy and cook!
