Finally got to finish an upper body/abdominal workout with minimal to no interruption (i.e., kids were still asleep). I feel good. Still a little depressed about not being able to walk or run, but dammit, I'm out to prove to the world that you *can* lose weight and get fit without cardio! The key is consistency with my weight training workouts... if I can continue to keep them up AND tighten up my diet (something I've been threatening to do since I've been in this cast but have yet to be successful...), I know I can at least drop a size! Wore my size 16 jeans all day yesterday even tho they were a little tight...one would think that that would have kept me from attacking the potato chips last nite, but noooooo....Tuesdays are hard cuz I'm up late with DD's gymnastics class, so maybe I have to plan for late dinners instead of pigging out at 8:30 pm!
Tomorrow I see the dr. and hopefully get this thing off my foot - but I'm still in pain so that may not happen...either way I'm not giving up this fight!!!!!
