Hi Guys--Just doing a blog entry to update all!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian Friends Haven't been ignoring you--just so much to get done here--not enough hrs in the day--I'm not doing anything special though as Danny is still in hospital--so I'm just packing-LOL

Danny is not improving very much & his attitude is very testy even my daughter remarked on it. The specialist doesn't think they'll be able to clear the infection in his leg says that it will just get almost better & then re-infect due to his non-existent immune system. They are trying to find a drug he can take daily to keep it at a level where it is stable. With all these drugs he's retaining fluid & looks like a little Buddha sitting on the bed-LOL--have to get him some new shirts as the buttons on the bottom don't do up.

Can't believe we move 2 weeks from today. The time has flown so fast. my daughter came down for 2 1/2 days to help & so was able to get more done than doing it by myself. I seem to be sorting & packing about 12 hrs a day & still have so much to do. The handyman I was hiring is the husband of my superintendent here in the building & he quit because he's afraid that it might jeopardize her job--mainly because after accepting our notice to vacate (it was 9 days late) they are now suing us for unpaid rent. The housing people have said my first priority is to get moved & then deal with it. But, it leaves me high & dry as he was helping with putting up curtain/drape rods, going to hang pictures , was going to lay the area rug, & helping with boxes etc. Marcia had started to put the TV stand together so now it is 1/2 assembled & sitting in middle of living room & the same with the bed frame (didn't have a socket wrench with us) we weren't strong enough to put the screws in & also, need to assemble Danny's dresser. When I had told him he laughed & said not a problem he would do it on Saturday but called Saturday morning & said he couldn't help anymore. So not much time to find someone else. Going to call my stepson on Tuesday (he's on a mini vacation & not back until late tonight) & see if he knows anyone--most of the ones I called are so expensive, I can't afford them for more than a couple of hours.

Better go -- my counter is full of lamps & wall decorations that I washed/cleaned & now need to pack. Have a bunch of boxes etc I'm going to take over later today.

I think of you often--must admit haven't been on the scale in weeks--but clothes still fit so hopefully I'm holding my own!
